CLUBHOUSE DRESS CODE
Our goal is simple: to create a space that is comfortable, welcoming, and family-friendly while remaining respectful of Club traditions. The Clubhouse is designed to be a relaxed gathering place for members, families, and guests. We ask that members and guests dress in a manner appropriate for a private club environment and casual dining experience.

What's Welcome

  • Attire appropriate for the Golf Course and practice facilities
  • Collared shirts, golf shirts, blouses, and tasteful tops
  • Neat T-shirts (solid colors or simple patterns, without offensive language or graphics)
  • Slacks, khakis, neat denim (without rips or fraying), and casual shorts
  • Skirts, dresses, and other casual resort-style attire
  • Clean, tailored athleisure and activewear appropriate for casual dining
  • Team uniforms and apparel before or after games and activities
  • Hats are permitted in the Baltusrol Lounge and throughout the Club's golf facilities, including the Golf Shop, Simulator Room, and Locker Rooms. We kindly ask that hats be removed when dining in Ridgewood, Winged Foot, and other Clubhouse dining area

What's Not Permitted

  • Swimwear not covered by appropriate outerwear
  • Cut-offs or excessively revealing clothing
  • Clothing that is dirty, excessively worn, or inappropriate for a family environment
  • Tank tops, muscle shirts, sports bras worn as outerwear, or similar gym attire
  • Graphic apparel displaying offensive language, images, or messaging

A Few Reminders

  • Families and children are always welcome, and team uniforms are encouraged on game days
  • Members are responsible for ensuring their guests are familiar with these guidelines
  • Management reserves the right to address attire that is inconsistent with the spirit and intent of this policy


GOLF COURSE DRESS CODE
Members or guests will not be allowed on the course, driving range and practice facilities without the proper attire.

  • All shoes worn on the golf course must be soft-spiked/spikeless and appropriate for golf
  • No denim of any color is permitted
  • No tank tops, short shorts, tennis shorts, running shorts, athletic shorts or cutoffs
  • Men should wear shirts with collars, turtle necks or mock turtle necks. Shirts should be tucked in
  • Women may wear sleeveless shirts with collars. Shorts, skorts and skirts should be fingertip length or longer
  • No sweat pants, warm-up pants, yoga pants (unless worn under another piece of clothing), baggy cargo shorts or shorts with holes in them
  • Hats must be worn with bill facing forward
  • Some clothing sold in the golf shop is not permitted on the golf course
